The Bundeswehr Office for Defence Planning is directly subordinated to the Federal Ministry of Defence and staffed by military and civilian personnel manning four Divisions. The Planning Office is located in berlin and has branches in Taufkirchen and a remote detachment in Norfolk/Virgina.
