What does the coat of arms of the Regional Territorial Command Baden-Württemberg represent?
A gothic coat of arms with a black border: the left field is black and shows the Iron Cross of the Bundeswehr. The right field is yellow and shows the three lions of Hohenstaufen. The state colours, black and gold (yellow), on the partitioned shield stand for strong ties with the state of Baden-Württemberg. The lions are the 900-year-old symbol of the dukes of Swabia from the House of Hohenstaufen. They are also shown on the official small coat of arms of Baden-Württemberg.
