Address

  • What does the coat of arms of the Regional Territorial Command Brandenburg represent?

The coat of arms features the hovering red eagle of Brandenburg at the top, its head turned to the left, with outspread wings and open talons. It is shown above the crossed sabres of the land forces. They symbolise the mission of the territorial command authority, namely moving ahead with national and collective defence. Sanssouci Palace with its vineyard terraces in the lower part symbolises the affiliation with the Brandenburg state capital of Potsdam, where the Regional Territorial Command has its headquarters.
