Address

  • What does the coat of arms of the Regional Territorial Command Hesse represent?

The design of the coat of arms of the Regional Territorial Command Hesse is simple but distinctive. It is reminiscent of the coat of arms of the federal state of Hesse, showing a standing lion with a ninefold horizontal white and red division and golden claws in front of a blue shield. The top left corner features the Iron Cross of the Bundeswehr in black. Through this simple combination, the coat of arms brings together the two time-honoured symbols for the Bundeswehr and the federal state of Hesse.
