Regional Territorial Command Thuringia

The Regional Territorial Command Thuringa in Erfurt is the supreme territorial command authority of the Bundeswehr within the federal state. It is the first point of contact for the Thuringa state government when it comes to civil-military cooperation.

    The coat of arms of the Regional Territorial Command Thuringia features the colours red, blue, black, silver and gold. The “Wheel of Mainz” on a red background positioned in the upper right is also the city coat of arms of Erfurt. The Iron Cross in the upper left serves as an ensign of the Bundeswehr. The coat of arms of Thuringia in blue shows a crowned lion with an eightfold horizontal silver and red division, surrounded by eight silver stars. It symbolises the Free State of Thuringia.
