Weapon Systems Support Center 2

Weapon Systems Support Center 2 helps to maintain the operational readiness of Air Force weapon systems. With its system centers and weapon system support teams, the unit ensures the technical and logistical support of the task forces, primarily of the Air Force, but also of the Bundeswehr at home and abroad. This is achieved by concentrating technical expertise and weapon systems support at the fixed maintenance facilities and by employing mobile maintenance teams.

The task spectrum of Weapon Systems Support Center 2 includes the “classic” capability of repairing components of air defense missile systems as well as radar, air traffic service, communications and ground navigation systems. The unit also provides certified repair services, for example in the fields of air-conditioning technology, optical fiber technology, welding technology and bonding technology.
