The Federal Republic of Germany Office of Defence Administration, USA and Canada

The Federal Republic of Germany Office of Defense Administration, USA and Canada is headquartered in Reston, Virginia and operates a regional services in Wichita Falls (Sheppard AFB), Texas. Its job is to ensure the administrative and economic support of all Bundeswehr service members, agencies and other facilities located in the United States and Canada.

In principle, the duties and responsibilities of the Office of Defense Administration and its regional services are equal to those of a Bundeswehr service centre. Besides, the Office of Defense Administration represents the Bundeswehr in various legal and administrative matters vis-à-vis Host Nation and NATONorth Atlantic Treaty Organization authorities.
