Mission
The Air Force Engineering Training Center (AFETC) provides training and follow-on training for soldiers and civilian employees of all major military organizational elements of the Bundeswehr, i.e. the Army, the Air Force, the Navy and the Joint Support and Enabling Service, in a wide variety of fields. In addition, it is the center of excellence for technical logistical training on rotary-wing aircraft for Army and Air Force personnel.
It is divided into the Northern Germany Branch, based in Faßberg, and the Southern Germany Branch, based in Kaufbeuren.
